The Texas Rancher on Glenn Beck, and How He Got There
Editors Note: After watching Shad it was clear Glenn could not have picked a better guest. Few people have the background and knowledge base on so many different industry topics. Fewer still have the ability to explain it clearly. I learned a lot from the episode, but just had one question for him, how does a Texas/Colorado Rancher end up as an in studio guest with one of the biggest names in the media? I thought others would want to hear too, so here it is.

In 2010 I was beginning to hear rumblings about the Global Roundtable of Sustainable Beef and recognized that the corporate and organizational push was a bit strange. My work in private property rights and my association with Freedom Maker, Kimmi Lewis, taught me to be alert for all things Global. After all, our government is designed from the bottom up, not from top down and this initiative was totally top down control. Not only in production, but concerning land control as well. Fast forward a few years and several property rights battles later, including National Heritage Area’s, the war on private property was in full force. With the latest attack coming in the form of Natural Asset Companies, through the SEC, bypassing congressional rule making authority, it was essential that Americans take a strong stand against this unconstitutional request initiated by the NYSE. And they did. With the leadership of American Stewards of Liberty, many state treasurers, state and National legislators, including Rep Harriet Hageman, Senator Pete Ricketts, Utah State Treasurer, Marlo Oaks, and thousands of Americans made their voices heard. As the RCALF-USA, property rights committee chair, I wrote an Op-ed informing Americans of the dangers this proposed rule and the ramifications contained therein. That Op-ed made its way to the desk of Glenn Beck. And the rest is history.
