Well here we go. This is the trial run, of something I’ve thought about doing for a while now. I don’t know how to edit and barely know how to record. I just wrote out an outline sat down and talked. What came out was what I have learned over the last 6 years of running Lonesome Lands and writing. I also get into what I have learned from my life in agriculture and how writing and researching has made me see it differently and more clear. I got into what I hope to do with the podcast and Lonesome Lands as a whole. Lastly I talked about what the end of American Agriculture would look like and if we are living through it now.

I didn’t want a guest or a real specific, or time sensitive topic for the trial run, in case I wasn’t able to make it work. This turned out to be a good idea since it took me almost 2 weeks to get this episode uploaded to all the major outlets. (I also misspelled, “introduce,” in the description, which is kinda shows how I operate.)

Going forward the plan is to have a new episode at least every two weeks. I’m working on the next one now about what I think the biggest scam in all of agriculture is.
